On May 8 of this year, an event was held at the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan with the participation of leading banks.
In it, the leaders of AloqaVentures and IT Park spoke about the measures taken to develop the startup ecosystem and the benefits of venture investments and startup projects to the bank.
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize the banking sector with the dynamics of the development of venture and startup ecosystems in Uzbekistan. In addition, during the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the information on the activities of the IT Park, the opportunities created for resident companies, and the work being done to expand IT exports.
Starting next week, it was agreed to organize meetings with the participation of major banks in Uzbekistan in order to get acquainted with promising start-up projects. It is also planned to discuss the possibilities of attracting investments and integrating products into the banking structure.
