Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Davron Vahobov and Deputy of the Tax Committee Sherzod Kudbiyev held discussions on April 27, 2024, regarding the draft resolution of the President of Uzbekistan, “On implementation of comprehensive measures to combat the underground economy.” It suggested creating a superapp that would include government services, P2P transfers, and e-commerce. All processes in the system are expected to be cashless and free for 5 years.
The development of proposals for this superapp can be submitted to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, and the Central Bank by November 10. It was proposed to discuss the practical implementation of the initiative together with representatives of entrepreneurs and commercial banks.
